Archaeology Walks 2024: Kithurst Hill Kithurst Hill is a new walk which takes in some of the lesser-known archaeological sites of our local Downland. We will explore the busy agricultural landscape of Roman Sussex, along with spotting hidden Bronze Age funerary monuments and Neolithic flint mining complexes. Weave A Willow Bird with Anna Twinam-Cauchi Suitable for beginners this is a great starting point for beginning to weave sculpture with willow rods. Learn basic techniques and weave a simple bird in good company.
A small group and plenty of tuition with an easy pace.
Bring your own gardening gloves and secutors if you wish - all other materials are provided.
We will be using wire to make bird legs so we will be using pliers for this stage.
