The First World War affected all who lived through those terrible years and the people of Worthing were no different.
This talk will look at the war's military and social aspects, covering soldiers' training on the local Downs, the battles fought by the Royal Sussex Regiment and the problems on the Home Front. There will be an extensive object-handling session after this lecture.
