Join Archaeologist James for a lecture revealing the historical secrets of mighty Cissbury Ring. From Stone Age flint mining to Iron Age ramparts and World War 2 defences, Cissbury has fascinated locals and visitors alike for centuries.

This talk will look at the archaeology of the site as well as the pioneering archaeologists themselves who were responsible for innovative approaches to the discipline. There will be an object-handling session after this lecture.
